Guys...I couldn't stick to the no heat regimen. I just couldn't continue on without looking my gorgeous best! :)
So...I've come up with something that works for me.
Since I enjoy looking my cutest on the weekend (HUBBY'S HOME!) I wash, deep condition and flat iron my hair on Friday. I wear it down making sure I moisturize my ends morning and night and use the crown and glory method to comb it every night before I half wrap it and tie it up for the night. By the forth night my hair is too heavy from the moisturizer to wear down without looking a mess.
On Tuesday, I wash it, air dry and put it in a bun. This way I can add extra moisturizer whenever I feel like it without my hair looking greezy. So I'm doing half protective styles and half straight. This way I look cute for dinner Friday night and for the weekend. When the work week starts, hubby usually doesn't make it home till 7:00 and we go to bed around 9:30 so we only see each other for a couple of waking hours. (Sad huh?)
I pay attention to the clothes I wear a lot when my hair is down. When I'm doing casual, I wear either a nylon vest over my shirt so my hair doesn't touch my cotton t-shirts or pull it up in a loose ponytail.
Well, anyway, just wanted to share with you that is working for me. I'm still seeing less breakage, which equates to ore length without completely stopping heat and wearing protective styles all the dang time. Cause THAT wasn't working for me. I GOTTA keep my cute on. It's who I am. LOL!

I here the maxiglide works well that you will only have to straighten once until your next wash.
I only oil my scalp once as my hair will get dirty so fast.
But the ends I have to pay close attention to from here on out..
I totally didnt look at all of this hair stuff you have on here.
I think I read one with coconut oil..
oh well since I am not working now I am paying close attention to my hair and skin..woo hoo..
should be back to work next week..praying:-)
