I posted on your blog sometime ago.. that I learned the ways of my hair and have been very successful in keeping it healthy. Speaking of Pink Moisturizer.. my daughter started using it b/c one of her friends used it... I noticed how gunky her hair became.. and told her if I catch her using that product again.. I would have to get physical... especially since I take so much time to care for her hair only for her to gunk it up... chile...please...

i just love your hair, it looks so healthy. I have a question about touch-ups, are they hard to do. I bought the Phytospecific perm, I can't wait to try it. I am still using the regular phyto line, that is all my hairdresser uses: Phytospecific, phyto and purelogy.

:::delightful:::

Hi Gurly, I have a question for you:

What is a 'protective style' and can you give a few examples? I ask b/c I am in the process of trying to turn my hair healthy and grow it out. Currently I'm using the Pantene R&N collection and it seems to keep my hair moisturized. I just need to get a decent cut b/c I have about three different lengths going on.

I really do love the blog BTW; you are so nice :)

P.S. This is 'Le_Chocolat' from the board : )

Ditto on that comment on Pink Oil Moisturizer comment! I swear I was just saying that exact same thing to someone the other day, and telling them to get rid of it! In saying that, I have been thinking of moving to frequent protective styles as my hair grows longer. I recently had a setback where I had to cut off an inch of my hair (*sigh* back to Arm pit length) because then ends were a complete mess! But it was the best thing for my hair. And that is one of MY PEEVES: Stop holding onto to messy, crappy, damaged hair for length's sake! A couple of weeks ago I seen a woman with MID BACK hair, almost waist length with about 4-5 inches of see-through ends! I almost died!
