Adult Acne

I have a girlfriend, after never having any skin problems, who is suffering from adult acne. She went to the dermatologist and was told it was just hormones. I shared with her that I was watching a show on HGTV wherein a woman had it so bad that she had this special humidifier built into her heating/cooling system and that maybe she should get one of those really good humidifiers from like Frontgate or the Sharper Image.

Then I thought about it and was like hey...maybe I'll just ask yall. Have any of you dealt with adult acne or know anyone who has? What did you/they do to get it under control?
