Do you have a well rounded life? You know...a good balance of work, home, spirituality, personal down time, entertainment, etc, etc?

So many times I hear folks saying stuff like they don't have anything to do and it baffles me cuz something is ALWAYS going on everywhere! You gotta check your local newspaper's event section, sign up for event alerts on Ticketmaster, etc.
I can't think of anything more boring than going to work and then home to sit up in front of the television. When do you get a chance to dress up and look your extra best? I'm not talking about that suit you don for the office...I'm talking about your..WOW...LOOK AT HIM/HER fit. I know you got nice stuff in your closets...GO SOMEWHERE TO WEAR IT!
Shopping with a friend recently she saw a gorgeous dress that I made her try on. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! She almost didn't buy it cuz "I'd never have anywhere to wear it." Humph....I told her chile...we'll FIND SOMEWHERE FOR YOU TO ROCK IT!
Don't sit around waiting on someone to get married to get your jazzy on. There is a lot going on. Go out and FIND it!
I know we're spoiled living here in that there is so much entertainment wise to do...but to be honest...I've always been able to find stuff to do regardless where I was living. And then...when you go to events and functions and meet like minded folks...you'll find out about even more things going on in your area.
And hey...even if you TRULY live somewhere where nothing is going on...CREATE YOUR OWN STUFF! You and a friend host a party. Start a supper club that meets at someone's home once a month, etc. Start a book club...a movie club....SOMETHING!
The more we interact with like minded folks...the more FABULOUS we are. This summer I have a lot planned with my friends and wouldn't have it any other way. Why? Cuz I have a well rounded life. Why? Cuz life is for LIVING!
