Each night, I put a bottle of water and a snack on one of the nightstands in your room in case you want some water in the middle of the night. Okay...so...what do yall say? Am I anal...or organized? ROFL! Weezy and CeCe call our house "Monnie's Bed and Breakfast." ROFL!
When Queeny visited she said she was stealing this idea for her own guests.
Do you do this too? If you don't...you should. Cuts out a lot of stoopit questions early in the morning. Cuz I AIN'T a morning person. AND...it cuts out on folks waking up early sitting around waiting on me to get up. You might be sitting up for a WHILE! ROFL!

That's what I'm talking about!
I just might get over my fear of dogs to become a guest in your home. Sounds like the red carpet treatment for real!

I don't do that for my guest room, however I do have a book, yes I said book. Three ring bider WITH tabs, telling you how to work, remotes, stereo, etc.
Monnie, peas in a pod I tell ya!

Talk about the "Hostess with the Mostest" attitude! :-D
Creole, girl you are on a roll!!!! this is a fabu idea... I've never done this before when I have out of town guest that visit. I usually tell them where everything is located and to help themselves and most of the time I wake up before they do to accomodate them but me likey the (in-home) Bed-n-Breakfast Inn Concierge concept!
This is a WINNER! as long as it is for the weekend... ;-)

I like it!

This is the best idea in the world that I would NEVER do! My people would never go home if I made it this comfortable, plus you are only a guest in my house the first time, hahahaha! After that you better figure it out. LOL
But seriously, we do get up and fix our special breakfast evry morning for everybody who stays, pancakes, sausages, bacon, home fries, grits, and eggs. I'm the queen of pancakes, but y'all betta not call me Aunt Jamima..
LMAO

This is great, Monnie. I'm definitely going to have to incorporate this during the week of 4th of July. I will have SEVERAL family members staying with me and the only time I will be off is the actual 4th of July. I do not want a bunch of phone calls at work during the day. :-) Love it!

Love it! May have to try that one day.

Do you have any weekends open ?? If I had company I think this is a great idea

I'm going to mess around and be late for work reading this blog. It's like an ongoing daily magazine. I guess I can't show up late for my morning meeting by saying I was blogging.

I love this idea because alot of times when you visit someone and you wake up early, you feel lost about what you can do and what you should and shouldn't use. I like the water bottle by the bed idea.. I should do that myself..

I would say organized. It sounds like a really great idea and not only do they have the answers to questions they might have but it also makes them feel welcome. It's quite thoughtful.

I would like to make our reservations at the Monnie's B&B for September 10-12. Can I bring Roxy?

Wow!! I love it..I normally do a welcome letter on the pillow and a basket in the room. I have never provided as much detail but I will now. As soon as I have my first visitor in Japan :) I'm so stealing this idea.

Hmmm, think I might have to steal this too. Mommie and Auntie are due at the end of the month.

LOL.... I was going to say, you're not special, in that odd kind of way. You're just cool. ;-) I "borrowed" this from someone... Maybe your blog or maybe I picked it up from a hotel. People love it when you care enough to put a little "effort" into their visit. Some folks find it corny... but oh well. ;-)
I appreciate visitors!

Already stolt...and if I use it three times, then it becomes an original idea. I love it.
