I don't usually point folks in the direction of stuff like this...but this really concerned me and re-emphasized just how much we have to teach our little boys about being molested the same as we do little girls.
Of course there is a story behind this. I was checking my website stats to see how people found my site and someone had done a yahoo search for "things you can make at home to j.a.c.k o.f.f." My site was listed under the results cuz the words matched the words in my post about blog jacking. Well...this link was in the results too and I clicked to see what it was.
It disturbed me, of course. Some of these men were as young as 7 and 9 years old according to what they said. Makes me worry about the little boys I love. Look at how many of them were molested by their cousins or best friends while having a sleepover. This ish is scary to say the least:
DO NOT OPEN THIS LINK AT WORK! DO NOT OPEN THIS LINK AT WORK! (Good looking out yall!)
Basically what it is is a site for bi, gay or DL men. The question was asked when was the first time they'd "been with" a man. The responses shocked me because they told of times when they were 7 or 9, etc. and their first time was with their cousin or babysitter or uncle. Sometimes the other guy was their age and sometimes much older. Doesn't seem like any of them thought anything was wrong with it when it happened and that pissed me off because I'm hoping that a 7 or 9 year old is not being presented with this so early on.
When I have kids...sleepovers will ONLY be at our home and everyone will sleep in separate bedrooms.
What did you think about this? What precautions do you take with your children? Do you talk to your sons as much as you talk to your daughters? How early are you having "the talk" with them?
