Monnie's Day
I went to the salon today to have my hair rollerset. I figure if they are predicting a riot (::eyeroll::) I might as well be ready for my mugshot.
My stomach has been bubbling all day. I had a bad feeling in the worst way for most of yesterday and today. It subsided after we learned of Senator Obama's Grandmother.
My Grandmother said she's not into "...that early voting nonsense. Imma vote for my Barack-a on the Tuesday you sposed to..." She thinks they throw away the early votes so they don't get counted. I initially asked her was she voting for McCain. She cussed me out. Lesley who has met my Grandmother will tell you that while she looks so wonderfully Grandmother-ISH...she'll cuss your azz out without blinking twice for being dumb.
E's mother, Tsiporah, just picked him up and he forgot his earphones...AGAIN. He also left the guest room laptop out again. Imma jump that kid man.
Shelly and Cole coming to visit week after next. Imma fight that kid while he's here. I just KNOW it. He talks too much smack already and he's only 3. He's only THREE.
We are going to bed in about two hours so we can get up tomorrow cuz it's gonna be a looooooooong day. We have assignments to PROTECT THE VOTE in Virginia tomorrow after we vote. We're really excited about doing our part.
I don't believe all fathers deserve to have access to their children. Let me repeat that. I, MONICA MINGO, DO NOT BELIEVE ALL FATHERS DESERVE TO HAVE ACCESS TO THEIR CHILDREN. SOME FATHERS ARE JUST NOT WORTHY AND WHEN A CHILD IS IN THEIR MOST FORMATIVE YEARS I TRULY BELIEVE IT IS FOR THE BEST!
But that's just me.
I had to go to the Apple store today and since I've been wearing my Obama gear I'm used to looks and stares but today? TODAY? People were sooooooooo nice to me. I got so many thumbs up and just about everyone I passed smiled at me and said OBAMA. This older White guy frowned my direction. Instead of getting SIPish I said, "Good afternoon Sir. Have a lovely afternoon!" I'm on my BEST behavior when I'm in my Obama gear. Is that odd? I feel like I represent him and since he always, ALWAYS takes the high road...I think I'm learning here.

LH is working too much. YEAH I SAID IT! YOU'RE WORKING TOO MUCH! I know he has plans to take over the world...but he's working too much and I don't want him to burn out.
Prince Myles got glasses today. My sister said that when he's reading he'd omit words. She did a bit more research and took him to the optometrist. He went today and had to get glasses for reading. MY BABY NEEDS GLASSES! He looks grown up now. There was a mock election at the fancy smancy school he goes to and they got to dress up. LOL! Our prince got to vote for SENATOR BARACK OBAMA!
Obama won. LOL!
Jaru is still following me around. Gives me the heebie jeebies. I'm going get a physical. He scares me into thinking the cancer is back. Sheesh!

Typepad is broke. You can't post from your Blackberry anymore. They are working on it and I'm worried they won't have it fixed by tomorrow when I'll have lots to say from out and about. Crap. Humph.
Senator Obama is on television now live from Charlotte, NC. I gotta go. I'm sure he's going to say something about his dear, dear Grandmother. I can't imagine how he feels. He looks so tired bless his heart. We got you Barack. We got you. He says she died peacefully in her sleep with his sister at her side. Our candidate looks sad man. He looks like he's hurt.

But he's doing this for US. For our country. So if I hear of anyone not being able to stand in line cuz it was too long I swear fo' goodness that Imma find them and kick their azzes. He can do it and he looks like he's been hit hard. Like he's been crying. Because he prolly has man. He prolly has.
The people who came before us and sacrificed so we may have the opportunity to vote deserve you to stand in line. You stand in line to get in the club. You stand in line to get tickets to see Jay Z. YOUR AZZ CAN STAND IN LINE TO VOTE.
I love my country man. I really hope my countrymen do the right thing tomorrow.
If anyone is in the area and is not going home for Thanksgiving...there is NO reason for you to be alone. As always...you're MORE than welcome to come to 13700 and eat. Wear elastic waist pants and socks. There will be none of that low-fat, healthy madness.
