Did you ever think about Luther Vandross being gay? Like...when listening to his music (as I'm doing now) did you ever think that the words didn't mean as much as they seemed to because he was gay?
Did you ever think about Luther Vandross being happy? Like...he gave so much of his talent to us by way of his extraordinary voice that you wanted him to be happy because of all he "gifted" us?
Do you think he was happy? Do you think it made him happy knowing he had to keep certain affairs very private even as he lived the most public of lives one can as a celebrity?
Do you think it ever hurt him to know that as his fans accepted his music...a lot of them wouldn't have accepted him being happy with who he'd chosen to make him happy?
I think of stuff like that all the time and I really hope he was happy. I truly, TRULY do.
