When I was in Miami...I rocked heels the entire time. I'm perfectly fine with walking in them because I'm my mother's daughter and she was old school with that book on the head thing and yes...the shoes were comfortable when I purchased them because...I wouldn't have purchased them otherwise.
But I wore them all day.
And then...I changed into other heels to go dancing in at night.
My dogs were BARKING!
It got so bad that I ran out and bought a long flowy sundress to wear on the last night so I could rock some ballet flats.
Here it is, more than a week later and two of my toes are still a bit numb. I've asked Mr. Google about this and he states that it's just a bit of nerve damage which will correct itself. He doesn't state there is anything else I should do regarding except stay away from the heels until it's all better.
My toes don't hurt nor do they look any different...I simply have a weird numbness in two toes on my left foot.
I'd like to know if any of you have ever experienced this because this is the first time I've ever had it and can't imagine I won't do everything possible to ensure it never happens again. No more 20 hours a day of heel wearing for me. Nerp. Hell nerp.
Did this ever happen to you and, if so, has it ever happened more than once? What did you do regarding and how long did the numbness last? Do you think I should go to the doctor?
