I have to update. Last nights and this morning models indicate that the storm will pass further to the south. Hence, I'm dropping snow amounts to the 0-2" range. The most snow will fall in the southern burbs. There will probably be a sharp cut off to the snow. I don't expect the counties that border Pa to get much of anything. Fredericksburg Va across to southern Maryland will have the best chance of seeing 2". And even there surface temperatures will be above freezing so just the car tops and grassy areas will have accumulations. Precip starting times are pushed back to the early afternoon for the immediate DC area. Further south precip will start in the morning. Any precip that is falling should end during the evening.
I can't wait for this sorry excuse for a winter, to end.
Have a good one.
