"Skyfall" is rated PG-13.
E is about to be 14.
I do not feel comfortable with him seeing this movie EVEN WITH PARENTAL GUIDANCE.
Why? The "relationships" Mr. Bond had with 4 women in the movie. Women who were all, seemingly, STRANGERS to him.
Like...Bond basically just GETS.IT.IN with random women he barely knows and frankly...I didn't even think about it until E was invited to go see the movie with a friend. Then I was like...um...I'll have to pass that by his mother because Robby and I saw it this morning and well...um....no. It's not 13 year old boy friendly.
IN MY OPINION!
I just feel like the Godson is at the age where he's really into girls and I'd rather he be more of the "courting" frame of mind than the RUNNING THROUGH IT frame of mind.
And now I'm annoyed.
Cuz I thought nothing of it as I was watching the movie.
So what does that say about me?
Hmmmmmmmmm...
I told him mom what was going on and told her what we think of the relations with LACK OF RELATIONSHIP in the movie.
Her answer? Good call.
And now I feel like we need to go see all PG-13 movies BEFORE the kid does.
What's the last movie YOU felt wasn't appropriate for your child or a child you love even though the rating suggested it should be?
