Yes I have on cotton tank top and stuff. Yes I know it's the worst thing to wear when trying stuff on. Work with me please. My heart is hurting thinking about Christmas and babies and shootings and shit as I'm sure yours is...*sigh*
I was in TJ Maxx and found this jumpsuit for $24.99. I bought it in a large so it would be totally comfy for cold days chilling at home on the sofa.
I really wasn't thinking it was going to be groundbreaking or anything...it just looked all comfy, warm and toasty.
I put it on this morning and tucked them into my shearling slipper boots (yes...the ones I spilled gumbo grease on one of last year and tried to clean them but the color on the toe of the greasy one stayed dark and still is which The Robinator HATES, HATES, HATES!...ROFL!) and I am over here in 7TH.MOON.DOG.HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!
So I decided to look online and see if I could find them in other colors and I found them on Amazon, but for the full price. I don't know if I'd pay $52 for them but then again I might cuz they are seriously the softest thing I've had next to my skin in forever and the kid is LOVING.IT! Kensie Going Navajo Microfleece Jumpsuit
If you hit up TJ Maxx today, go see if you can find some. I PROMISE you won't be disappointed. SIP's honor.
I wore this dress in LA last week. It fits me really well and I was happy with the dress. At least I was happy UNTIL I started finding those flowers falling off the dang dress. Yup...no less than 5 flowers fell off the dress as I was wearing it because there is like this thin thread holding all of the flowers in place.
So...I've rocked the dress and been photographed in the dress. With my track record...I might never wear the dress again.
BUT I DID WEAR THE DRESS.
So...what would YOU do? Would you take the dress and the 5 flowers which fell OFF the dress and return the dress?
I bought it a couple of months ago and loved the length of it. Super long in an extra small even on my size 5'9" frame. I loved the fit and shape of it.
Last night, I washed it according to the instructions with my still-fancy-to-me washer on the special hand wash cycle.
It shrunk in length by a good FOOT.
I have it spread out to dry flat and I'm going to fold it up neatly and take it back over to Banana Republic with the worst stink eye the world has ever seen. I don't want to hear ish about my no longer having the receipt. I'm not getting back less than what I paid for it.
AND NO I DON'T WANT ANOTHER ONE IF I CAN NEVER, EVER, EVER WASH IT.
Anything like this ever happened to YOU?????????????
What I can no LONGER do, however...is choose business clothes.
My closets just aren't equipped as I've given away all but five suits or so and three of them are skirt suits.
I'm headed to California and I will be in back-to-back meetings for 4 solid days.
So...that's 4 business outfits.
But not business, business cuz yall know I'm creative-ish/business-ey.
And jazzy...yall know I will want to be jazzy.
I'm headed out to get my brows and hair done so I can be cute by the head.
Can yall help me out and comment with some looks I can duplicate? I really don't want to wear heels all day, of course but since it's Cali...I can wear some of my comfortable wedge sandal thingys with a pant that goes to the floor.
I started off taking pics with my cell but the lighting and whatnot is really crappy in there apparently.
I don't know if I want to wear either of these dresses.
This dress makes me happy but I totally don't want to wear regular heels.
I took this one with my Nikon cuz I wanted you guys to tell me if I could wear wedges with this dress. The dress is brown and it is extremely comfortable. I might take some better pictures of me wearing it later so yall can see the details. It's really basic but cute. I like it. A lot.
Just tell me if I can wear the UBER comfy wedges. It's going to be in the 80s in Nashville so yeah...no boots. *sigh*
I'm totally digging the neckline on this dress but yeah...I'm sooooooooo not in the mood to wear fancy shoes so this won't be happening. I can't wait to wear this dress somewhere however...cuz I feel fancy-ish in it.
My movie is screening before the big movie so I won't have time to change because I want to see the big movie which is Mr. Bill Duke's "Dark Girls." That said...I'll be wearing what I'm wearing and that's that. In fact...I even changed my travel to fly in and fly out because I have so much going on I can't miss a day away from all my stuff.
Yeah so...can I wear those wedges?
Should I pick something else?
I'm just not really feeling really fashion forward these days.
