Every 6 months or so I play around with new widgets offered by TypePad to see if I like them.  I'm adding stuff and taking 'em off in the next couple of days as I see fit.  You can help me out by doing what they say do so I can REALLY see if I like what they do.  

Hopefully you'll notice the new stuff.  Witcha evil azzes.  ROFL!

So...if you visited the site this weekend you saw that one of my photos was pirated by Radio One / Black Planet and used in the MOST INSULTING WAY POSSIBLE to a woman who loves, cherishes and RESPECTS her husband more than anything in the world.  Question From SIP

It was brought to my attention by someone who reads their site, Elev8, and this site as well.  The person has been reading my site long enough to know that I do NOT give permission for my image to be used to ANYONE so they let me know.

By the way...again...THANK YOU.

So...I went to the site and saw it with my own two eyes and then I did some research and found the names and email addresses to whom I needed to contact with a tongue-in-cheek version of a Cease and Desist letter:

I just commented as did Roycee's Daughter.  I don't know what happened to comments from midnight on however so yeah...they're prolly lost in the sauce.

TypePad Commenting Problem

We're having a problem with commenting again.  It's not just IE users this time as I can't comment my damn self.  Needless to say I'm NOT pleased in the least lil bit and have contacted TypePad.

I don't know how quickly they will work seeing as though the EXCELLENT direct connect I used to have, Ginevra, has moved on to greener pastures but hopefully her replacement has her same work ethic.

Dear TypePad...SUCKS! Blackberry, Comments, Comment by Email!

TypePad drives me BAT.SHAT.CRAZY!  They are always "improving" crap without FIXING the MAJOR problems!  How in the hell does that work again????????????

How do you CLAIM to have the #1 business blogging service when the #1 smart phone used by the business community, the BLACKBERRY, can't be used to even simply read comments or even MAKE comments?

How in the SHAT did it come about that you can no longer reply to comments via email?

These are SERIOUS problems that need to be addressed and yall keep monkeyfooting around making ish CUTE????????????  STOP WORRYING ABOUT CUTE STUFF AND FIX THE ISH WE NEED!  

This makes no sense at all!  Who is running the show over there?  A decorative throw pillow?

Please don't send me emails asking me to forward you a recipe I posted on the site.  Please utilize the Google toolbar that I have taken the time to include to make it easier for folks to find something they'd like to use as a resource.  Surprisingly...if you put in the words SMOTHERED PORK CHOPS...it pulls up the recipe that I took the time to type out for you to try.

Again...I've had a rough day so yeah...I'm being snippy.

TypePad Test!

TypePad has this new platform that just sprung up on me.  I'm checking it out to see if I like it.

Sometimes new things are good but as we saw with TypePad Connect and it not being able to be seen on BlackBerry which caused Tiffany in Houston to send me some old threat texts.

I've just had the most EXCELLENT customer service from Rachelle of Designs by Rachelle! She did the re-design of my blog a couple of years ago and last night when I was setting up the site to have some new behind the scenes stuff put in I, of course, knocked something loose.  LOL!

I sent her an email and she fixed it without blinking an eye in little to know time at all.  I don't even know what in the heck she did but she did it and QUICK too!

As I have shared with yall before...if you're looking for a new website design or blog design, Rachelle is DEFINITELY the person to hit up.  She does book covers, etc.  Girl is mad talented!

TypePad Connect and Blackberry Problem!

Well...I just heard from the TypePad Connect folks and was informed that the Blackberry browsers do not support TypePad Connect and won't for quite some time until they move out of Beta testing.  Well...that won't be for a long time apparently so I had to disable it so that I can stop getting hate mail from folks who can't access from their Blackberry and old cheeky azz messages from Tiffany In Houston.

TypePad Connect Problems

Hi guys!  I've integrated the site to be able to utilize TypePad Connect which is sposed to be this super dooper commenting feature which makes the comments more community minded.  Tiffany In Houston just let me know that she couldn't view comments any longer from her Blackberry so I tried and found I couldn't either.  Please let me know of any additional problems you have noticed so I can send the information to the TypePad people.

Typepad is migrating blogs and has issues so if you find you can't comment and receive an error message or the page won't load sometime during the day...just keep trying.

Typepad is working on the comment problem!

I'm in contact with them regarding the delay in posting comments and it's more than this site so they are trying to figure it out. Sorry for the problem and thanks for your patience.

Chatbox Update

Aiight...the Chatbox people annoyed me this morning with all kinds of weird ads on the Chatbox. Um...NO. Now I realize that since I was using the free version I shouldn't have been annoyed...but I was because I'm a spoiled brat who wants her way. :)

So I upgraded the service and am actually paying for it now so if you want to set a profile so you don't have to type in your info every time...you can. Just click on the little thingy that says Profile and have at it. You can also delete your own messages now if you end up with typos you don't wanna be associated with. LOL!

I'm going to make it longer too just as soon as I have an opportunity to.
