CNN is continuing to show the world what they think about Black
people. It started with that ridiculousness called "Being Black in
America" which showed like a warning to all who would even THINK about
retraining their thoughts about their stereotypes of Black people that
NERP...YALL HAD IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!

They can't in all honesty not look like fuggin idjits by saying
ignorant and racist things about Obama so they hire a Black man to do
it. A Black man, I might add, who actually tried this once before on
Comedy Central only to get booted cuz his azz AIN'T FUNNY!

I mean really. The most trusted news source suddenly wants to get
with the comedic aspects of the news? GIVE ME A DANG BREAK! I'M SO
ANGRY ABOUT THIS I COULD BURST A VEIN IN MY TEMPLE!

I hate CNN with all of me for this nonsense. This is coonery at it's
finest and they are trying to stamp credibility on it with their NAME.
A Black man is about to be President but hey...in the few days before
he is...let's put on a showcase for them about Black people.

Sometimes...

I feel like there will always be a battle between the cheerleaders and the chicks in the band. Or the skinny girls versus the girls with a little extra. No matter how old we get. No matter how successful we become.

And it soooooooooooo doesn't have to be that way. The last acceptable form of prejudice seems to be that of having disdain for someone based on how much they weigh.

Or maybe it's just me seeing and feeling this.

Me: Will there always be an unspoken battle going on between slim women and overweight women that I won’t ever understand even as I feel it and see it?

Friend: I don’t think it’s just about weight. I think it’s about the images of beauty that we are bombarded with via the media and even within our families. I have thinner friends who tell me that I look great. I’ve had thinner friends tell me with all honesty that they think I could widen my dating pool by losing a bit more weight. I don’t get mad at them because they are thinner. I just accept what it is.

I think that overweight women feel that slim women might think that they are just lazy and that the weight should just fall off but it’s not that simple. If you have been slim all your life that might be hard to understand.

I overheard an overweight dude talking bad about overweight women. I thought to myself...dude is in SERIOUS denial.

I mean really. Dude looked nine months preggo with triplets and had the nerve to talk smack about a woman who seemed, TO ME, to weigh waaaaaaaay less than he did.

Have you ever seen this ish??? I know G-Baby knew a dude once but it is just those two right? RIGHT?????

Cold and Rainy Friend!

The high today in my neck of the woods was about 46 and I promised a friend I'd be an extra in his shoot tonight. The shoot that was OUTSIDE. Yup...I'm a good person and a good friend man. I better get MAJOR kudos for this...humph! That pic was taken by our classmate...who takes pics like Robby. Humph. LOL!

These actor dudes are pretty big in the area. Dude on the left just got back today from New York where he's doing work in "Lipstick Jungle." Cool huh? Dude on the right is the awesomest dude alive. LOL! He is sooooo quick wit-ted. ROFL!

So yeah...I'm just getting home and getting warmed up. Me and fleece are great friends. :)

I had two slices of pizza tonight. I'm sure I won't be able to go to sleep without my stomach reminding me I ate pizza tonight. My organic stomach does NOT play!

Sexy Huh?

My husband says I'm sexy. LOL. In fact...he sounded offended I'd even asked such a ludicrous pregunta as if to say, "Duh...as if you'd by MY wife if you weren't!". So there Oprah nem!

See...I'm not a bra chick. No need to be. (Snicker, snicker...SIP 2008). I'm a tank and low rise bikini kinda chick. But yeah...they ALWAYS match so I guess that's okay huh?

Do I ever switch it up? Sometimes. But not by much. :). My guy says I'm sexy in jeans and a t-shirt and he says I'm sexy in full on glam too.

Things I've learned the HARD way in the kitchen!

If you're in a rush don't just POUR the glaze over a Southern Comfort cake. There is a REASON my mother always used a paint brush. *sigh*

Oh...and if those shrimp have been sitting in the fridge for MORE THAN A DAY...unless you know FO SHO they were fresh...do NOT put them in a pot of gumbo. TRUST ME ON THIS ONE!
