We'd be remiss if we didn't start the day off acknowledging the loss of one of our great ones. Senator Edward Kennedy died last night in his home after a struggle with brain cancer at the age of 77. The roll he has played in writing the history of our politics is one your children should know. The good, the bad...all of it. His life played out like a mini-series and he was the perfect person to show the power of perseverance and in having a respectful relationship with those that would consider you a threat.
Senator Edward Kennedy is gone but, fortunately, a lot of what he worked hard for is still benefiting our way of life as we know it.
