Whenever I travel or even just leave my home with computer, et al...I have one or both of these with me.
The first is a portable external harddrive that can hold all of my pictures, music, etc. It's small enough to fit in my bag without a problem and lightweight. I always transfer the stuff on here to my home external harddrive as soon as I get home because hey...the fact that it's portable leaves the field wide open for damage.

The second thingy is simply a three port outlet. This way...If I need to charge up my phone and my laptop but can only find one outlet or don't want to be an outlet hog in the event someone else is looking for one...I plug this puppy in and I'm in business.
This one is actually bad azz and I will be replacing mine with it post haste. GO ME!
