You have a cat.
You ask your neighbor to feed the cat while you're gone because your cat eats the fancy food which comes in the can.
You call home to check your voicemail around the time you asked your neighbor to feed the cat (you didn't call on purpose at that time...you just did it) and your neighbor answers your phone.
They say they're standing at the sink cleaning the cat's bowl when they saw your number and answered the phone automatically as they do when you call them at their home.
The neighbor laughs it off saying they can't believe how confused they got.
