The kid has about an inch and a half of new growth. I've been rocking and rolling recently so I've simply been washing it every other day and letting it air dry with headbands. Then...I moisturize and oil it up and put it up. No fuss, no muss.
Well...this morning I got tired of that look so I decided to try and do it up a bit. You know...get it prepped for a good flat ironing.

IT TOOK ME DAMN NEAR 45 MINUTES OF DETANGLING AND COMBING THAT ISH OUT WITHOUT BREAKAGE! ESPECIALLY IN THE TOP OF MY DANG HEAD!
AND I WAS USING A DETANGLER AT EVERY SECTION WITH A DETANGLING COMB!
That said...I don't know how yall do it with a whole head of hair. More power to you man. Yall flipping ROCK! The level of patience yall have could make you lifelong abstaining nuns.

I was going to wait until I had two inches before I did a touch-up. How much ya wanna bet I handle that this week? I don't have the time, energy or patience to be doing all that super dooper kid glove treatment right now.
Some dang tips on detangling might help cuz I don't know HOW yall deal with combing out without breakage!
