Your child comes home from the first day of school very unhappy and tells you they don't want to go back there ever again.
There is nothing new about the school or environment that you can thing of as you've lived in the same area for a long time and your child has gone to school with pretty much all the same kids their entire life.
Your child won't tell you what's going on other than to say they just don't want to.
