Aggravating SIP

I don't like being mean to people I interact with directly and this is the main reason SIP exists.  SIP has always been inside my head and totally silent to anyone but me.  SIP is/was my way of dealing with aggravating ish.

I just kept SIP inside my head.  If someone did or said some stoopit ish SIP would pop off in my head and I'd say something different out loud.  Worked wonders for a very long time.

Then...I introduced yall to SIP and SIP had a comfortable spot to pop off "out loud."

Scenario...

You are on a first date with a pretty cool guy.

He takes you to Ruth's Chris.

Dinner was great and yall had a really nice time.

The check comes and he looks at it startled and gets up with it and heads for the hostess stand.

You see him talking, words are exchanged and then he comes back to the table looking concerned.

You, of course, ask him if everything is okay because, again...he's looking concerned.

He says he'd heard on the radio that there was a 3-course special for $39.99 and thought that was still going on but that it ended last week.

He doesn't say anything else but he STILL looks EXTREMELY concerned.
