A couple of weeks ago I was talking to two older ladies. They were sisters. I was people watching and having lunch and they were talking 'bout people...and having lunch.
Basically they were talking about how a lot of these young parents today aren't REAL parents and know nothing about parenting. They were like...they wouldn't know what sacrifice was if it knocked on the door and said...HEY...IT'S ME...SACRIFICE.
They said these young women drop them kids off anywhere so they can still go out and hang basically confusing the heck outta those children because they have to pretend to listen to so many different adults that one true voice never rings clear as a voice of authority.
And they said that's what's wrong with kids. They don't respect authority because they don't get the foundation of child/parent/role model from home anymore.
They were both retired teachers and looked like they would pluck the hell outta you if you disagreed with them.
So...at the risk of getting plucked...what do YOU think?
