Worker Bee Scenario...

You are a manager with your company.

There is a guy you've been feeling some kinda way about.

His confidence strikes you as arrogance and he annoys the pig ish outta you.

You've just been informed earlier this week that he's being transferred to your department.

Seems his last manager couldn't work with him but he's smart and a go-getter so they decided to move him instead of getting rid of him.

Cool.

No biggie.

You assign him to a project and give him his action items.

The first meeting with the client is today.

You've met with your team and discussed the project.

Everyone knows their roles.

The meeting starts and you lay out the plan.

The client is excited.

Your team is working well together.

New dude interrupts and says...he'd taken the liberty of laying out an optional plan of action that would save the client several hundred thousands of dollars.

He stands up and starts passing out his plan.

What do you do?

 

 

Scenario...

You're out and about.

You see a group of kids.

ONE of the kids looks familiar to you.

You realize it's the kid of one of your online/FB friends you've yet to meet but you really like.

The group of kids are acting donkey butts.

I want to wear a dress I can rock some comfortable boots with, flat boots of possible.

Or...should I just rock some wide leg camel colored pants with a silk blouse?  Simple, classic and comfortable.

Yesterday I had every intention of staying home all day but then...E ended up having half a day of school.  Since we hadn't kicked it in a minute...he and I decided to go forth into the world and plot world domination.

Why world domination you ask?

Cuz his lil' cheeky azz has finally decided (after watching the NFL show) that I'm really making movies so he needed to give me all of his movie ideas that he's working on.

Scenario...

You participate in a car pool for your kids' school.

There are clear rules.

No smoking is a MAJOR one.

Your nerves are bad one day and you tell your child that you just need to go home and relax.

Your child tells you that you should have a cigarette to relax you.

You're like...I'm sorry what?

The child says one of the fathers smokes sometimes while driving them and told them he has to do it every now and then because it relaxes him.

You good?

Thanks for all of the emails and notes after seeing us on the NFL special.  I feel I need to clarify something however...

I was rocking shades for one reason only.

BECAUSE I WAS SLEEP DEPRIVED! 

Seriously...I looked like shat on that day.  That ENTIRE day because I'd had like 4 hours of sleep in over 48 hours.  Just crazy.  Our makeup Diva kept trying to remind me to let her do my makeup before my interview but I was rocking and rolling and  didn't have time.

Oh...and THAT day?  Was one of those 16 hour days you hear about and hope you never, ever, ever have.

That said, once again, a ponytail and a pair of shades saved me!  LOL!  Never wonder why I spend good money on hot shades.  They hide a WEALTH of issues!  LOL!

Hell...I might go buy a new pair RAT.NOW seeing how well they worked!

Turns out there are going to be layoffs today.

They will be announced at noon.

Scenario...

A family loses their home.

They rent a large, climate controlled storage unit to store their belongings.

They end up living in the storage unit.

They keep it neat, with food, clean clothes, etc. 

They have electricity.

They figure out how to make it work.

Their children were neat, clean, respectful, never missed school, etc.

None of their 6 children made less than a B in school.

CPS is called and decide to remove the children because there was no running water in the unit. 

They kept all of their water in buckets, etc.

They sent the children to their grandparents and made it so their parents could only visit with them for 6 hours per week.

What do YOU think about the visitation ruling?
