Hi all,
Time to rev up the heat.
Talk about a switch. The model that just covers North America and gave us just a little rain has done a 180 and it's now giving us close to a foot of snow. The model is simply psychotic.
Anyway, my forecast remains the same. A cold rain with some snow mixing in during the day. The rain wll start this evening and mix with some snow and sleet b4 ending late tomorrow afternoon. I wouldn't be surprised to see some flurries tomorrow night. It's going to be nasty tomorrow. As usual those who live in the N & W burbs will see more snow but little if any accumulation. If you are heading towards the I -81 corridor, there will be accumulating snows but they will be elevation dependent. If you are heading north of Harrisburg Pa, re consider your plans. A major snow is expected for the Hazleton/Scranton area tomorrow.
Ya know, I'd love to have the model that covers just North America to verify. ;-)
Have a good one.
