I've been annoyed with a man I know since Thanksgiving. He did something that I VEHEMENTLY disagreed with and didn't show any remorse at all. Like...he totally felt like he was perfectly within his rights to do what he did.
AFTER Thanksgiving I got PISSED with another man I know. Like...so mad...I was standing a foot away from him and clenched my teeth together so that I said as little as possible because I knew...based on how ANGRY I was regarding what he'd done and what he CONTINUED to express with his actions and body language...I would have picked up something and started beating the crap out of him.
And based on his reaction when I walked up...he knew it too.
That same week a man I know had an emergency that wasn't an emergency in my mind. Basically he let a deadline come and go thinking it would MAGICALLY be okay and then...in the eleventh hour this fool calls like he's set on fire and expected others to stop, drop and roll and solve his problem. When I asked the kind of questions an ADULT would ask he had the audacity to get mad and I told him that when he was man enough to take his damn medicine to call back.
He did and we helped PUT OFF the inevitable cuz there wasn't anyway in hell that I was going to do what the fool was asking me to do based on the idiocy of the DEMAND alone.
Last week a guy was pissed because the mother of his children was keeping him away from his children because she wanted NEEDED money. He didn't have any money to give her and felt like she should understand and try and work with him but she was tired and flipping PISSED. They texted back and forth with EXTREMELY ugly messages to each other. Her on her basic phone. Him...on his GOTDAMN iPhone with the unlimited everything plan to the tune of damn near $150 a month.
He got upset finally when she texted him back and said don't worry about it...her boyfriend was going to give her the money and that he should be shamed that another man does more for his kids than he does.
GOTCHA.
So this fool let his lil bird chest write his azz a ticket when he texted her back and said...Well then do that...I'm done. Don't ever call me again.
I hate that fool.
I heard another story about these damn men who think when a woman is asking them to help out more when it comes to taking care of their child and they get mad and think they have the right to tell a woman how to ACK. Fool...shut up. You don't have job number one, still living with your mama, have multiple children with multiple women. What in the HELL do you think YOU can teach anyone? SERIOUSLY? GTFOOHWTBS!
You wanna be like Steve Harvey? Well guess what? You can't. Why? Cuz you ain't got no money. Steve pays his child support I'm sure. You? BOY.BYE.
Increasingly when I allow myself the time to interact with people outside of my close circle I hear some crazy ish and yall know what? The men folk ain't really coming up smelling like roses. In fact...I'm like...STUNNED at some of this crap.
What in the WORLD is going on? Is it something in the eggnog? Was it something in the turkey? Is it just me or are you hearing some crazy azz men-ain't-shit stories too?
