So there is a show on TLC which I was unfamiliar with called, "All-American Muslim."
There is an organization which I was unfamiliar with called the Florida Family Association.
They started a campaign targeting the advertisers of the show "All-American Muslim" basically saying it was un-American to support the show.
UN-AMERICAN????????? OH HELL NO! WHY IS TLC AIRING AN UN-AMERICAN SHOW ANYWAY? LEMME GO SEE 'BOUT THIS RAT.NOW!
Hmmmmmm...Well...that didn't look un-American. What am I missing?

Okay...so...couldn't find one...lemme go see 'bout this Florida Family Association.

They're saying that Anonymous (who bring me joy might I add) brought down their site to try and stifle their freedom of speech.
SIP: Wait...wasn't that what they're trying to do to the American Muslims?
So I asked Mr. Google about them people and he lead me to this:
Yeah...that's the dude who is the Executive Director of the Florida Family Association.
SIP: AHA! He's one of THOSE dudes! The ones who aren't strong enough to NOT succumb to some ridiculous ish and then they get caught up and in order to absolve themselves...decide to save the world. You know the type right?
Me: Right.
So back to Lowe's.
Lowe's allowed this dude and his legion of bullies to make them pull their ads from the show.
SIP: Wait...I thought he was against pron?
Me: Nah...he's grown to full on right wing nutjob status.
SIP: AHA! Good plan man...good plan. Might as well go WORLDWIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO BIG OR GO HOME!
Me: But what about Lowes?
SIP: Well...that's unfortunate. Seems like they reacted without doing enough research and allowed the Florida Family folks to bully them into being un-American cuz freedom of religion is as American as the apple pie and baseball they're always bringing up.
Me: Yeah. I guess. It just depresses me that hate can be so prevalent in 2011.
SIP: Get over it. Hate is form of entertainment for lots of people. They mix and mingle with it. It becomes their part-time pastime and full-time belief. It allows them to feel smart knowing they aren't because no one who supports their brand of hatred is asking them tough, thoughtful and enlightening questions.
Me: Down with hate.
SIP: Are you mad enough to make a sign?
