I've had an amazing morning already k nocking things off my list.
Speaking of lists. I have two running lists. I have a to-do daily list and I have a long term list. Well...I knocked something off my long term list recently and I can't tell you how happy I am about it. I have a tremendous sense of accomplishment when that happens and I just sit back all smug in being me.
Funny huh?
I'm almost finished with THE BOOK!
Actually...I'm looking for someone to do cover art right now. I don't think I'm all that crazy about covers with people on them although the book has people in it. LOL!
Do yall know how hard it is to write a book? Like...it's CRAZY difficult!
Who'da thunk it would be easier to write a script than a book?
NOT.ME!
I've been purging like crazy. There is something so satisfying about organizing all of your stuff properly and then standing back and looking at it.
I wish I could explain to yall how good I feel after being gluten free for a few weeks now. Like...I finally realize just how bad I've always felt. My stomach has ALWAYS been sensitive. ALWAYS! And I've always had to be extremely careful about what I was eating to the point where I'd rather go hungry than make my tummy hurt. Now that it NEVER hurts? Wow...just wow...this must be what yall feel like all the time and I'm sooooooo jealous of yall!
GO ME!
MY BIRTHDAY IS NEXT WEEK! GO ME!
I can't tell yall how proud of E we all are. It's like...overnight he's become such a mature young man. He's running cross country track and hanging out with his friends and making REALLY good choices. He knows we all have expectations of him and he is trying really hard to make it do what it do. Folks keep saying that age 13 - 14 is the age they start smelling themselves so I'm seriously hoping it skips him.
LOL!
I'm trying to figure out how to grow basil and mint year round in the house cuz I use those two herbs a LOT!
It's becoming increasingly harder to find domestic shrimp.
I received a lot of emails from people who were offering me words of encouragement and thanking me for doing what I do. I finally read them all last night and it made me smile.
Shelly 'nem still don't have 'lectric but the water has gone down so at least they can leave the house today.
It's such a perfectly perfect fall-ish day. Slight breeze. Gorgeous sky. Moderate temps.
I'm hard pressed to find any shows I like better than "Frasier" re-runs. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Just keep swimming.
I'm so proud of The Robinator.
I have so very, very much to be grateful for. If I can figure that out...so can you.
I let a framily member read THE BOOK...she was blown away.
That made me smile cuz she's not the type to be blown away. LOL!
I hardly ever have a morning where I don't spill coffee on myself.
*sigh*
On a scale of 1 - 10...how's your morning been so far?
