So...my T-Rhonda sustained a bit of damage to their home during Hurricane Isaac. They called the insurance company and the dude rushed right on our to appraise the situation.
After he did his one/two...the paperwork came back to let them know they were covered once they paid their WIND DEDUCTIBLE.
The hell is that?
Where the hell that come from?
That's new? We ain't never had no WIND DEDUCTIBLE before Katrina!
WIND DEDUCTIBLE?
HUH?????????
Hurricane Isaac will introduce many New Orleans homeowners to wind deductibles
The WIND DEDUCTIBLE is based on a percentage of what your home is worth. The amount they have to come out of pocket is $11,700.00
I.AM.FLOORED.
Many people don't have $11,700 sitting around to come up off to get their house back right. That's why insurance started in the first place right?
At least I thought so!
These insurance companies need to be dealt with. That's just ridiculous. I mean...really.
What say you?
