This is how Lucy has to be now. Constantly in a diaper duct-taped to her. Seriously...duct-taped. She has no control at all over her bowels and it's wearing us thin. She can't help it but honestly...that's the last thing you're thinking about when you're cleaning up shit in your home.
SERIOUSLY.
You have to TRULY love an elderly, handicapped dog.
Those of you who STAY ready and have a few extra pounds on you...where do you shop? What stores cater to your sense of uncompromising fashion? In department stores...which designers are the ones you go-to?
We have two sick doggies at 13700. They both have upset tummies and we don't know what's wrong. We have plans to call the manufacturer of their food tomorrow and their doctor just in case their upset tummies haven't subsided.
I've replaced their water with lemon-lime Gatorade and made a big batch of chicken and white rice. I baked 4 chicken breasts in the oven at 350 degrees for an hour and cooked 4 cups of white rice.
I diced the chicken up and added it to the white rice with a bit organic chicken broth mixing well.
I fed them the same amount as their regular food and will keep feeding them this until their feces is more solid. Then I'll mix half of this with half of their food until it's all gone.
These dogs need jobs.
What do you feed your dog when they are sick?

I love getting frozen yogurt with fresh berries at Pinkberry, Yogiberry, etc. but I don't like leaving my home when I'm in for the night cuz I'm like 80 in my head.

A family member's doctor is trying to get them on schedule to poop daily.
I'm in the market for a heart rate monitor. Any recommendations? Which one do you use? Why do you like it? What DON'T you like about it. If money wasn't an issue...which one would YOU purchase?
What's YOUR personal take on damaged hair? Can you repair it or would you just cut it off?
I'm pretty happy with the level of organization I have going on at home. I do little things daily to make sure that it never gets completely out of hand and looks like a mess. Other than the seemingly constant laundry going on here...it's always surface clean.

I was recently visiting one of my favorite websites for purchasing the lil' mamas' clothing and I saw this swimsuit advertised for toddlers and little girls. Is it just me (I tend to be conservative in the swimsuit department for our girls) or is this a bit much for a toddler swim suit? It looks more like lingerie to me. Why would someone make this? And why would someone by it? o_O
And as for Olivia Pope being a sidepiece?

I was people watching having lunch outside with a friend last week in a pretty popular area.
Young people were in and out walking and enjoying the sunshine wearing the shortest shorts fashion has deemed presentable to date in my lifetime.
They'd walk a bit and unconsciously tug the shorts at the crotch area to pull them down a bit because, I can only imagine, that thick, folded crease at the crotch could probably get uncomfy ya know?
Yeah...you know.
The most interesting thing, however, was that many of these young ladies had cellulite. And I'm talking YOUNG. Like...late teens and early 20s. And most of them had back thigh cellulite.
Hmmmmm...
They weren't overweight. They appeared to be fit. But yeah...cellulite.
That was interesting to me because I'm of the thought that cellulite either appeared if you were overweight or older. I guess that's not the case?
Did you think the same? Have YOU noticed these young ladies with cellulite already? Is it odd? OR...is it simply a case of not seeing so many people in super short shorts so we never noticed it before?
Have you rocked the floral pant yet?
This is disturbing because it seems to me that these kids have an amazing amount of freedom to be themselves already and yet...he wants more freedom? At age 14? And ain't nobody abusing him or messing over his money?

Not so much.
In fact...I only sweep when I see something. Then I get the broom and actually sweep it up. ESPECIALLY in the kitchen.
Twice a week I run the vacuum on the bare floor setting and hit the rugs too.
Since we don't have kids crawling on the floor or walk around without shoes on...I think I'm doing well.
What say you? How often do YOU sweep your floors? Do you do it daily?
I'll be honest when I say I only use prep bowls when I'm trying to keep the kitchen as clean as possible while cooking because I have company coming over or I'm recording what I'm doing. I have a stackable set that I bought at TJMaxx for like $7.99 for about 6 in the stack of varying sizes.
You put each ingredient in it's own bowl and then put the source product away. Keeps everything neat.

What's the last CHANGE you experienced or created? Did it turn out to be a good thing?

I've started using Google Calendar properly and it's changed my life. There are so many things you can do with it that it makes no sense to NOT use it.
I add all my meetings, calls, appointments, etc. to it now and am always excited when I can just *CLICK* to add something to my calendar. Eventbrite let's you do this as well as a lot of other services I use.
It adds all of the details to my calendar and I can set up how I want to receive my reminders. I generally use email AND text reminders. Email reminders a day before so I can make sure I've done all I need to do for the event and text reminders starting 30 minutes out.
Another feature is the ability to share my calendar with the Robinator. Both of us use this feature so we're not doublebooking things we need the other for and we can make arrangements for Lucy, etc. His events are in blue, my events are in pink.
I receive a daily agenda (can be found in 'SETTINGS') every morning at 5:00am so it's the first thing I check when I look at my emails daily.
I can even insert/embed meeting information in an email so that the recipient can one click add it to their calandar as well.
It is seriously the best tool ever.
