I'm sitting here after taking my second shower of the morning.  I didn't plan on taking two showers mind you...but it became necessary.

Tunic Tops, Friends, and Friends of Friends

I was rocking a tunic with jeans and the date of a male friend asked me why was I wearing a tunic because it did nothing for me.  She then went on to tell me that with my body, I could wear pretty much anything I wanted to since I didn't have to hide anything.  According to her...what's the use in being in shape if all you're going to do is cover it up.

I stopped talking.

My friend, her date, sent me a text which said:  THANK YOU FOR NOT BLASTING HER CRAZY AZZ.  YOU'LL NEVER SEE HER AGAIN.  I PROMISE.

I looked down at the text and then back up again.  

Still not amused.

I responded to the text with:  OKAY

We never spoke of it again and I never heard her name again.

I just thought about that.  

I didn't say anything because I respect and love my friend and didn't want to put him in an awkward position.  I seriously thought about what it said about their relationship that she didn't think the same.

It made me think about the fact that, new people come and go...old friends generally stay the same.  I doubt if she ever even considered her behavior as inappropriate.  Like...I didn't tag her azz out of respect for him and knows me well enough to know that's the ONLY reason I didn't tell her azz to go play in traffic.

People play too much.

When you don't care for a friend of a friend (date) do you say anything or do you keep it on the low-low?

Online Dating, Grammar, Punctuation...and Teeth!

How much stock do you put into a person's writing abilities when dating online?  What about their teeth?  If they are smiling in the picture and their teeth are jacked up...is this a turn off?

Can you get past teeth and grammar?

I have a friend who has a new friend.  They haven't known each other for even 6 months yet.  The new friend is not from the area they currently live and they think my friend is pretty cool.

Because she is.

The new friend is a gay male.  That's important for you to know cuz you'll end up wondering once you hear about how much he whines to a woman he's not dating.

Black Nerd Comedy Intrigues Me

Clutter Anxiety

Every now and then I have so much to do that I don't know where to start.  And then...I look around me and any amount of clutter robs me of breath.  Like...I seriously start feeling the walls close in on me.  I feel like I'm never going to be able to accomplish any of the things I have to accomplish if I don't do something about the clutter around me.  The magazines, papers and books in my reading pile have to be straightened perfectly.  The remotes have to be cleaned, there can't be any dust nearby or dog hair on the sofa.

The sofa blankets suddenly need to be washed and the stairs need vacuuming.  I go through my purse and toss out any crap.  Before long, I've de-cluttered everything I can see and done all of the little random things I've put off doing because they weren't important.

Then...I can breathe again.

And realize...I haven't done any of the things I HAVE to do.

Odd huh?  Odd that you can do and do and do and actually not get anything DONE.

Just me?
