It's not a secret that I adore me some flowers and that I try and do something different once a week to make me smile. I have been adding flowers to pretty much every room that we use daily by dropping a bud or two in bud vases. The impact is simply lovely and cost pretty much little or nothing.
Whenever I'm in HomeGoods or TJMaxx, etc. I look for cute little bud vases. Surprisingly, some of my favorite ones were only three or four dollars. Then, I hit up Trader Joe's or my favorite flower shop, Kentlands Flowers & Bows, and buy some fresh blooms to put in them. My favorites these days are alstroemeria, bupleurum, hydrangea (especially green), stock , solidago and spray roses (orange ones are 2.DIE.4!)
Hand blown glass vases bring me joy, joy, joy and I love grouping them together to make fun stuff! I'm kinda in a funk of sorts so I'm about to head out to get some flowers. I'm already thinking of what I want to buy and I'm wondering if this week is going to require sunflowers.
